Chic Decor is great!
   Chic Decor was hired to help with color choices for the main floor of our house. We were extremely pleased with all color choices made!
 Margarida helped us to select upholstery for the dining room chairs, new living room chairs and drapery for both dining and living rooms.
Upholstery material was also chosen for a bench for the front hall which Margarida designed. We have been completely satisfied with all work completed with Chic Decor!

Children’s Room

Chic Decor listened to what we all said.  
 After spending time getting to know what our needs and budget were, Margarida spent time talking to our son about what things HE liked.
 After that, she took the time to research the three things that he liked and created board designs to highlight each design so we could see the colours, fabrics, and layouts.
 He was so excited to see what ideas, colors and furniture she had for his room.
 He felt included in the process, and it meant a lot to all of us. She also helped to inform us that the bunk beds we thought we wanted were not safe because of the age of our son.
She created a room that was tasteful, that would transition well as our son aged, and stayed within the budget we outlined. She was a tremendous help and we were all very lucky to have found her.

Margarida's excellent ideas. We found that Margarida's ideas for our room renovations were well suited with what we had in mind. She gave us great direction on how to proceed, excellent tips on colour coordination and on how to make the rooms flow from one to the other.

Kitchen/Ensuite design and overall flow of house

Chic Decor has a really great eye.   Margarida is an extremely knowledgeable and comprehensive designer. First she got to know my husband and I before she started helping us choose things for our new home. She then established the style we mutually liked.

 Before the house was built Margarida came to the Decor Centre of our new builder with us helping us choose important structural changes to the house and navigated us through all the builders options and where we would get the most 'bang for the buck'. We would have never thought of many of her ideas and we are thrilled we listened to her. Even the builder was impressed with some of her structural decisions.

  Then the fun began, she helped us choose custom hard wood flooring, marble flooring with mosaics she designed especially for us, and kitchen and bathroom cabinetry. The end result....beautiful and even better than my husband and I envisioned. I highly recommend her, especially for new home owners who want to start off right!!"

 

Kitchen, Family Room, & 2 Bathroom Renovations
 

Chic Decor, reliable and professional.  We hired Margarida from Chic Decor to do a conceptual design plan and manage a complete kitchen, family room and bathroom renovation. This was a large project involving a complete kitchen redesign, changing existing windows, new lighting, new flooring, new furniture and accessories.

Margarida designed a new granite fireplace
for the family room, designed new window treatments
for the family room, dining room and kitchen,
and selected custom upholstery in coordinating colours
for the family room. She chose a colour palette for the main floor, hall and bedrooms. For the bathrooms she chose new fittings, lighting and accessories.

Margarida also helped us with our landscaping. Both front and back gardens were to be redone by our landscaper and we were overwhelmed with the choices. Margarida helped us with the overall design and choice of plant material to create attractive gardens that have seasonal interest.

 She was very knowledgeable, helpful and effective in pulling everything together to make our home flow from one room to another. We are 100% satisfied with doing business with Chic Decor. We never really enjoyed our home before our renovations but now we thoroughly enjoy coming home and opening the door to our new interior!
